Hospital-Based Cardiology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hospital-based cardiology team in Fall River, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists providing comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.


The NP/PA will manage hospitalized cardiology patients under the supervision of a cardiologist, with a primary focus on caring for interventional cardiology patients before and after procedures, coordinating follow-up care, and collaborating with Hospitalists, Primary Care Providers, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active Massachusetts NP or PA license
  • Current DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration
  • Experience with inpatient cardiology preferred
  • Familiarity with cardiac diagnoses, cardiac medications, and cardiovascular procedures
  • Experience caring for cardiac catheterization patients is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with Epic, eClinicalWorks, and general computer applications
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented approach to patient care
