Locums Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a Locums Primary Care Physician to provide outpatient care to adult and senior patients in Green Valley, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values preventive care, chronic disease management, and collaborative, patient-centered medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and senior patients.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions.
• Provide preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Interpret diagnostic testing and coordinate specialty referrals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Care Managers, Pharmacists, Social Workers, and clinical support staff.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient engagement initiatives.
• Educate patients regarding disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Arizona medical license required
• Current DEA registration
• Outpatient primary care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, value-based care
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
