Locums Neurosurgeon Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon for a locums opportunity in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This position is focused on inpatient and emergency neurosurgical coverage and supports a high-quality regional neurosurgical program. The physician will provide comprehensive care in collaboration with Emergency Medicine, Trauma Services, hospital leadership, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Shift requirements may be prorated for partial calendar years
• Inpatient and emergency neurosurgical coverage

Clinical Responsibilities

The Neurosurgeon will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care, including:

• Evaluation and management of emergent neurosurgical cases
• Inpatient neurosurgical consultations and management
• Emergency and trauma-related neurosurgical care
• Ongoing management of hospitalized neurosurgical patients
• Collaboration with Emergency Medicine, Trauma Services, and multidisciplinary teams
• Development of treatment plans and coordination of patient care
• Providing timely consultation and surgical recommendations for urgent and emergent cases

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Have or are eligible for North Dakota medical licensure
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
