Locums Family or Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a locums outpatient primary care opportunity in Newington, CT.

Compensation:  $150 Per Hour

Position Highlights

• Start Date: November 2
• Schedule: 24 hours per week, Monday–Wednesday–Friday
• Ideal Schedule: Monday 10 hours, Wednesday afternoon 4 hours, Friday 10 hours
• Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
• Patient Volume: Approximately 2 patients per hour
• Patient Population: Adults, age 18+
• Call: None
• Support: Medical Assistant provided
• Procedures: Not required
• EMR: Not specified

Responsibilities

The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, preventive care, and follow-up. The physician will work alongside an experienced support team with MA assistance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Connecticut medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
