Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide inpatient oncology hospitalist coverage in Worcester, Massachusetts. This is a long-term opportunity with an anticipated 1-year assignment and the possibility of extension.

The physician will provide inpatient hematology/oncology care in a collaborative environment, with a mix of independent patient management and working alongside other providers.

Compensation:  $450 Per Hour

Position Highlights

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment: 1 year with possibility to extend
• Setting: Inpatient Oncology
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• 4 × 10-hour shifts
• Ideally Tuesday–Friday
• Approximately 12–15 patient encounters per day
• Combination of independent inpatient care management and collaborative care
• EMR: Epic
• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
• Local candidates preferred; travel candidates considered with consistent availability
• Market-rate compensation

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Hematology/Oncology fellowship required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• DEA and CSR required
• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
