Locums Neurology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Locums Neurology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient neurology coverage in Prescott, AZ. This is a weekday clinic opportunity with a variety of neurology consultations and diagnostic responsibilities.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Lunch: 12:00 PM–1:00 PM
• Lunch Break: Paid
• Setting: Outpatient Neurology Clinic
• FTE: 1.0
• EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities

• Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Conduct neurological consultations and assessments.
• Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of neurological conditions.
• Perform EMGs as qualified.
• Read EEGs as qualified.
• Perform Botox injections for migraines if appropriately credentialed.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner.

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• NP: AANP or ANCC certification.
• PA: NCCPA certification.
• Active Arizona medical license.
• Neurology experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable providing outpatient neurology evaluations and consultations.
• Additional procedural/diagnostic experience such as Botox for migraines, EMGs, and EEG interpretation preferred.
