General Surgery Physician

We are seeking a General Surgery Physician to join a collaborative surgical team in Sonora, CA. This opportunity offers the ability to provide comprehensive surgical care in a community-based setting while working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation:  $3,000 Per Shift

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring surgical care.
• Perform general surgical procedures and provide pre- and postoperative care.
• Conduct consultations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient surgical patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to surgical emergencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligible for or able to obtain a California medical license.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
