Locums Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Bay City, MI. This position offers weekday coverage with overnight call responsibilities Monday through Thursday and no weekend call. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality gastroenterology care, evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

 

Schedule & Details

·       Coverage Schedule: Monday at 7:00 AM through Friday at 7:00 PM

·       On-Call Requirements: Monday–Thursday nights

·       Weekend Call: None

 

Responsibilities

·       Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

·       Provide gastroenterology consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.

·       Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology procedures.

·       Manage patient care needs during overnight call coverage.

·       Coordinate care with other physicians and healthcare professionals.

·       Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

 

Requirements

·       Board certification in Gastroenterology required

·       Active Michigan medical license required

·       Active DEA registration required
