Physiatrist (PM&R), Part-Time

A growing physiatry group is adding a physician to cover several short-term rehab and skilled nursing facilities in the St. Petersburg area. Two rounding days a week, rotating between buildings, mostly new consults and higher-acuity post-acute patients. You’d also serve as supervising physician for the NPs in those buildings.

The role

• About 2 days a week across multiple facilities, roughly 20 patients a day. You pick the days; at least one weekday, done by 4 or 5pm.
• No formal call. NPs may reach out with the occasional question between rounding days.
• Group EMR and laptop provided.

Compensation

• 1099. 70% of net collections, no billing or management fees, plus a monthly supervision stipend that grows with the market.
• Part-time physicians on this schedule are running $150K to $200K a year.
• Paid monthly, with an advance during credentialing. Malpractice covered.

You

• MD or DO, PM&R residency, board certified or eligible. Active Florida license.
• Post-acute experience helpful, not required. Flexible and easy to work with matters more to this group than the CV.
