Locums Neurology Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist for an outpatient clinic opportunity in Dover, New Hampshire. The physician will provide care to an adult patient population, primarily seeing established and returning patients with a variety of neurological conditions. Full-time coverage is preferred, but providers available for a minimum of three weeks per month will be considered.

Compensation:  $ $275 to $290 Per Hour

Schedule & Practice Details

·       Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

·       Shift Length: 8-hour shifts

·       Coverage: Full-time preferred; minimum of 3 weeks per month considered

·       Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days

·       Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic only

·       Patient Population: Adults

·       Average Daily Volume: 12–14 patients

·       Appointment Length: Approximately 30 minutes per patient

·       Patient Mix: Primarily established and returning patients

·       Staffing Support: 3 APPs and nursing staff

·       Supervision: No APP supervision required

·       EMR: Epic

 

Clinical Responsibilities

·       Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with neurological conditions.

·       Provide ongoing care and follow-up for established patients.

·       Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

·       Manage patients with conditions including:

o   Migraines and other headache disorders

o   Stroke

o   Seizure disorders

o   Multiple sclerosis (MS)

o   Sleep disorders

o   Restless leg syndrome

·       Coordinate care with APPs, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

·       Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

 

Procedures

·       No procedures required.

·       No EMGs.

·       No sleep studies.

 

Requirements

·       Board certification in Neurology required.

·       Active New Hampshire medical license required; candidates willing to obtain an NH license will also be considered.

·       Current BLS certification required.

·       Active DEA registration required.

·       Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.

·       Currently licensed New Hampshire providers preferred.
