Locums Neonatology Physician

An opportunity is available for a Board-Certified Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to provide overnight coverage in an inpatient Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Bismarck, North Dakota. The provider will deliver specialized care to critically ill and premature newborns, assist with high-risk deliveries, and participate in neonatal transport services.

 

Schedule & Setting

·       Shift: Nights

·       Setting: Inpatient

·       FTE: 1.0

·       Facility: Level III NICU

·       EMR: Epic

 

Responsibilities

·       Provide comprehensive care to critically ill and premature newborns in a Level III NICU.

·       Perform neonatal intubations.

·       Place central lines and peripheral arterial lines.

·       Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal stabilization.

·       Participate in ground and air neonatal transports, including fixed-wing transport.

·       Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary care teams.

 

Requirements

·       Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

·       Active North Dakota license.

·       DEA registration.

·       Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
